A community potluck was held Sept. 16 in Florence. Attendees included Coleen Bruner, Carol Katy, Dale and Tootsie Snelling, Mary Jane Grimmett, Joyce Padget, Janet Cress, Les and Linda Allison, Elsie Jouanne, Janice Shanklin, Francis Osgood, Sandi Cunningham, and Bill and Margie Williams. Coleen Bruner and Carol Katy were hostesses.
Overnight guests of John and Denise Lang Sept. 19 were their grandchildren, Dana and Daxton Maddox from Strong City. They went fishing Sept. 20 and caught several fish.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling helped their daughter, Sherry Hess, in her food booth at the Art in the Park Sept. 19.
Lorenne Magathan, Anna Valkenen, and Margie Williams met Sept. 15 in Florence for pie and coffee.
Dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams on Sept. 19 were their son, Gary Williams of Goddard, and Carl Williams of Wamego. Becca Williams, Sadie and Lucy of Wamego later joined them.
Doni Rogers returned from a weeklong trip in Colorado on Sept. 16.
Margie Williams attended the Ranch Rodeo and UHC Horse Show Sept. 19 and 20.
