Marilyn I. Harsh

Marilyn I. Harsh, 71, passed away on Monday, Aug. 13, at Newton Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 19, 1940, to Hallie and Dorothy Holman.

She was a retired cosmetologist and a retired teacher from the Peabody-Burns school district. Marilyn was a member of the Peabody Christian Church and also taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her husband, Keith of Peabody; sons Ivan Larsen and Brad Owens of Towanda; a brother, Jim Holman of Westmoreland, Utah; sisters Carolyn Benson of Huntsville, Ala., and Halene Kessler of Emporia; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was a very loving wife and lived life to the fullest. She will be missed by many. Visitation was at Baker Funeral Home on Thursday. Funeral services were Friday at the Peabody Christian Church. Interment will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody. A memorial has been established with the Peabody Christian Church.
