Rachel Christine Thurston and Colton Dean Olson, both of Marion, are engaged to be married in June.

The bride-elect is a 2010 home-school graduate and a youth sponsor at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro. She works at Marion City Library. Brent and Heidi Thurston of Marion are her parents.

The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of Marion High School and a student at Tabor College in Hillsboro, where he is scheduled to graduate in May with a degree in psychology. He is a youth sponsor at Goessel Mennonite Church. He is a resident assistant at Tabor College and a full-time case worker at Prairie View in Hillsboro. Casey Olsen of Walton and Tina and Justin Groening of Marion are his parents.

The couple will be married on June 22 at Tabor College.
