Oct. 29: Officers received a call about harassment victim found living in El Dorado; the parents wanted to know what to do.

Oct. 30: Officers contacted a resident in 400 block of North Cedar Street about a roofing scam.

Oct. 31: Two theft reports were taken.

Nov. 1: A theft report was taken. A harassment report was taken.

Nov. 2: Officers spoke with a resident living behind Main Street liquor store who complained about headlights from vehicles; he was advised to build a fence in the civil matter. Officers spoke to juveniles urinating in public; on further violation, there will be consequences. A suspicious package was located but nothing was found inside and it was destroyed.

Nov. 3: An officer wrote a citation for expired tag. A citation was written for a driver speeding at 100 mph in a 65 mph zone; suspect was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Nov. 5: Officers assisted court services with an arrest for a first appearance. A theft report was taken for property in Wichita.

Nov. 6: A harassment report was taken.

Nov. 7: An arrest was made for driving with a suspended license.

Nov. 8: Officers reviewed grant paperwork. Officers talked to person about possible identity theft. A report was taken of theft of money from a vehicle in the 300 block of South Thorpe Street.

Nov. 9: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance featuring a gun discharged in city limits; an arrest was made. Officers searched the VFW because of an open door and secured the building. Officers returned a phone call in reference to firearm that was seized.

Nov. 10: A possible theft was reported but the person refused to write a statement. A disturbance was reported at Ampride; officers served notice of criminal trespass. A report was taken of children making a mess in Zimmerman’s parking lot east of the building. Officers met with two suspicious people at VFW but took them home when everything was found to be OK.

Nov. 11: Officers assisted with a skunk in the park. Officers conducted a welfare check.
