April 15: Officers followed up on a juvenile rape case. Officers conducted a civil standby and return of property.

April 16: Officers responded to a donkey at large on Walnut Street.

April 18: Officers responded to a pack of dogs at-large.

April 19: Officers responded to a suspicious person selling door-to-door without a permit. Officers served a search warrant for a child in need of care case and placed two juvenile males in protective custody.

April 20: A report of vandalism was taken.

April 22: Officers conducted a search warrant — two adults were arrested and children were placed in protective custody. A theft report was taken. Officers served a search warrant, placed four juveniles in police protective custody, and sent one juvenile to Juvenile Corrections in Junction City.

April 23: Officers transported three juveniles to juvenile corrections from the Sheriff’s office.

April 24: A report of criminal damage to property was taken. Two bicycles were found and returned to owner. A stolen camper was reported and officers apprehended suspect; it turned out to be a civil case.

Thursday: Officers served a search warrant and transported one female to jail. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a car seat violation.

Friday: Officers assisted with a suicidal person; the subject was transported to St. Luke hospital. Officers assisted Sheriff’s office with a search warrant and transported arrestee to jail. A report of vicious cat was taken.

Saturday: Officers assisted sheriff’s office with a fight at the jail. Officers picked up lost property and attempted to return it to the owner. Officers arrested a driver for transporting an open container of alcohol. Officers assisted sheriff with fatality accident.

Officers conducted: 4 search warrants, 11 arrests, 21 traffic stops, 2 battery cases, 2 assaults, 2 disorderly conduct cases, 1 domestic battery, one sexual battery, 2 cases of criminal threat, 11 cases of possession of marijuana, 10 cases of possession of methamphetamines, 11 cases of possession of drug paraphernalia, and 1 case of criminal possession of a weapon.
