Income eligibility guidelines for free and reduced-price meals at Kansas public schools for the 2012-13 school year were announced earlier this month.

The maximum household income for a student to receive free school meals is $14,521 for a household of one, plus $5,148 for each additional person in the household. For reduced-meals, the eligibility cutoff is $20,665 plus $7,326 for each person beyond the first.
