Burns correspondent
Members of Burns United Methodist Women went to Newton April 3 to visit friends. Esta Hall, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Lucille Robinson, Beverly Morgan, and Joyce Kyle called on several former Burns residents. They visited Ted Roth, Fritzie Hatfield’s father, who has moved to Asbury Park. Then they called on Reva Goodwin, who also resides at Asbury Park. The group met with Laverna Parrish of Hesston and had lunch with her at Braum’s. After lunch they visited with Ivan and Margaret Morgan and Don and Twilah Nightengale, all of Asbury Park.
Nathan Koehn was an April 2 supper guest of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, and Carolee.
Supper guests on April 9 of Marie Clark were Jen Stucky, Martin and Peggy Van der Weg, all of Newton, and Mack, Shayla, and Hadlye Clark of Burns.
