John and Allie Morris of Peabody announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Morris, to Joshua Honer, both of Wichita.

Honer is the son of Jill and Don Honer of Wichita.

Morris graduated from Peabody-Burns High School, and is a 2014 graduate of Wichita State University. She works for Von Maur in Wichita.

Honer, a graduate of Council Grove High School, was in the Army stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. He works for Oasis/Westar Energy.

A wedding shower and barbecue will be held at Newton East Lake on April 18.

The wedding is to be May 28 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand hotel. The couple will honeymoon in Cozumel, and reside in Wichita.
