Charges are pending against a 17-year-old boy who approached a 13-year-old girl in the 100 block of E. Grand St. on March 15 at 5 p.m. Police said the boy was yelling at the girl and she told him to leave, after which he walked up to her, grabbed her shirt and attempted to pull it down.

Furnishing alcohol to a minor

A 40-year-old man is facing charges for furnishing alcohol to a minor and allowing minors to consume alcohol in his apartment after a 17-year-old girl became intoxicated at his residence and had to be transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital by a friend. The girl was treated and released from HCH.
