Theft

Dennis Entz, 59, rural Peabody, reported that the outside portion of an air conditioner valued at $600 was stolen between 3 p.m. Feb. 2 and 9 a.m. Feb. 4 from a residence in the 300 block of Nighthawk Rd. in Peabody.

HILLSBORO

Driving under the influence

Zachary Andrew-Yamamoto, 23, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence, transporting an open container of alcohol, having an expired license plate, and improper driving at 12:41 a.m. Thursday at US-56 and Adams St.

Theft

A chain saw valued at $300 was reported stolen from the bed of a pickup owned by Gary Evans, 54, rural Marion, while he was running errands between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Hillsboro.
