CORRESPONDENTS:   Peabody Senior Center

The center will serve brunch at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. The menu will include breakfast casserole of eggs, potatoes, and ham, cinnamon rolls, or blueberry coffee cake. The brunch provides a mid-morning start to the Easter weekend, giving seniors a little extra time to travel or get ready for company in their own homes.

Anyone wishing to attend should make a reservation early so the kitchen staff can be sure to fix enough food.

April birthdays will be celebrated on April 9. The program for that day is Advance Directives, a topic about which all seniors should be informed.

New April menus are out and anyone interested in eating at the center may stop by and pick one up. Suggested meal price for those 60 and older is $3.15 and for those younger than 60, $5.

Reservations need to be made a day in advance by calling (620) 983-2226.

The center is located at 106 N. Walnut in downtown Peabody.
