Activity reports

Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.

Hillsboro

Dec. 2 – A package was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of W. B St.

Dec. 3 – A suspicious item reported at Tabor College proved to be protein powder. A non-injury accident was reported at Orchard Dr.

Dec. 4 – A motorist received assistance with a vehicle lockout, and a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 300 block of N. Main St. Debris was removed from the roadway at D and Ash Sts.

Thursday – Motorists were warned for parking violations at C and Adams Sts. A reckless driver was reported on US-56.

Friday – A loose dog reported on N. Main St. was caught in the 100 block of N. Birch St. and returned to its owner. A motorist received a citation for an expired tag at 190th and Jade Rds.

Saturday – A motorist was warned for speeding in the 800 block of S. Ash St. Items were reported stolen from a garage in the 200 block of S. Elm St.

Sunday – A motorist received a citation on 190th Rd. for expired registration. Individuals shining lasers at a security camera was reported in the 300 block of S. Washington St. A false alarm was reported at Casey’s General Store.

Marion

Dec. 2 – A suspicious person was reported near Freeborn and Main Sts. A motorist received a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign near Coble and Lawrence Sts.

Dec. 4 – A nuisance property complaint was reported in the 700 block of S. Cedar St. A welfare check was provided in the 400 block of S. 4th St. A suspicious vehicle was reported in an alley at the 400 block of S. Roosevelt, but no vehicle was found.

Thursday – A possible intruder reported in the 200 block of Miller St. proved unfounded. A motorist was warned for no headlight on US-56.

Friday – A cell phone was reported stolen in the 300 block of N. Cedar St., but no official report was made. Motorists were warned for no tail lights near 3rd and Main Sts., an illegal U-turn near Main and Walnut Sts., and headlight out near Main and Walnut Sts.

Saturday – A person was warned for trespassing. A delayed accident report was taken.

Sunday – A motorist was warned for headlight out.

Peabody

Dec. 4 – A vehicle was reported stolen in the 300 block of E. 3rd St.
