May 17 — A reckless driver complaint at B and Ash Sts. turned out to be part of a verbal domestic dispute in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. Tabor College reported a missing welcome sign. A parking complaint in the 100 block of S. Birch St. was investigated.
May 18 — A sick cat was reported in the 600 block of S. Main St., a minor traffic accident in the 300 block of S. Adams St., and suspicious activity at the Scout House in Memorial Park.
May 19 — Tabor College reported that someone entered a shed and moved college golf carts around, that a decorative stone also might be missing, and that someone had switched parking signs around in the 500 block of E. C St. A missing dog was discovered and returned to its owner.
May 20 — A suicidal person was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital from the 300 block of N. Main St. A noise complaint was made in the 300 block of S. Birch St.
Thursday — A neighbor allegedly removed several cement blocks from a resident’s yard without asking. A domestic disturbance in the 500 block of E. A St., a child custody dispute in the 400 block of N. Ash St., and a curfew violation in Memorial Park were investigated.
Friday — A confused person wandering around on D St. was transported to the hospital. Debris was removed from the 300 block of S. Washington St.
Saturday — Violation of a protection from abuse order was reported in the 300 block of E. First St. A neighbor dispute in the 300 block of S. Birch St., a suspicious person on Main St., and a curfew violation at Lincoln and D Sts. also were investigated.
