Hillsboro

May 31: Suspicious activity was investigated downtown, there was a curfew violation in Memorial Park, and a dog complaint was taken on D and Washington Sts.

June 1: Police investigated a dog complaint and suspicious activity.

June 2: Officers assisted a parent with a problematic child and investigated two reports of suspicious activity in the 100 block of S. Birch St. A bicycle was reported stolen from the city pool.

June 3: Cattle were returned to captivity west of town.

Thursday: A door-to-door salesperson allegedly tried to steal a resident’s medication.

Friday: A missing person was reported in Hillsboro Heights. A parking complaint in Hillsboro Heights, noise complaint in the 100 block of S. Birch St., and a trespass compliant in the 200 block of S. Ash St. were investigated.

Sunday: There was a 911 disconnect in the 700 block of W. Grand St. and a report of domestic disturbance in Hillsboro Heights.

Peabody

Thursday — Officers charged Miran Stephenson with having no vehicle registration or license tag. Police filed an report on an altercation between two juveniles that resulted in no charges. Lena Fisher of Peabody was arrested on a Marion County warrant alleging failure to appear in court. She also was charged with driving while her license was suspended.

Friday — Police took a report of a child missing from a home in the 200 block of N. Olive St. The child was found and returned to his mother.
