Hillsboro

Nov. 13 — A report of child abuse was determined to be unfounded. Lost property was returned to its owner.

Nov. 15 — A report of reckless driving in Memorial Park was investigated. Two dog complaints were investigated. A fire alarm in the 400 block of S. Washington St was investigated. A verbal dispute in the 100 block of S. Jefferson St. was investigated.

Nov. 16 — A woman reported a theft by her estranged husband. Violation of a protective order was investigated.

Hillsboro Community Hospital reported that an out-of-control person with a nonmedical problem was brought in by ambulance. Sheriff’s deputies arrested the person for allegedly possessing a stolen vehicle.

A person reported missing was spotted several times in the last two days but was determined to be absent by choice.

A person was transported to HCH for mental evaluation after a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of S. Jefferson St.

Nov. 17 — An allegedly missing person had returned home but left again. A pit-bull was removed from city limits. Suspicious activity in Hillsboro Heights was investigated.

Nov. 18 — Reports of a suspicious person behind Hillsboro City Hall, a suspicious package in the 400 block of E. Grand St., and a suspicious person in Hillsboro Heights were investigated.

Thursday — A report of one dog being attacked by another dog at F and Main Sts. was investigated. Theft of money and credit cards from a locked room at Tabor College was investigated.
