Marie Clark attended the Oct. 11 wedding of her great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Nelson, to Garrett Benjamin at Camp Wood. The reception was held in Emporia. Also attending from the Burns area were Ronnie and Patti Gaines and Marvin and Sherol Nightengale.

Marie Clark had supper with the Mack Clark family Oct. 12.

The Gaineses met Dusty Gaines in El Dorado Oct. 12 for lunch.

Bruce Sayers was an Oct. 12 dinner guest of his parents Lawrence and Lois Sayers.

The Burns community was busy this past week with the wedding, Burns United Methodist Church supper and bazaar, flu shots, and Burns Senior Citizens luncheon.
