Kay Lambert, sister of Bonnie Plummer, arrived at the Plummer home Sept. 19 and they went to Burns to eat. On Sept. 20, Kay and Bonnie went to the arts and crafts shows in Marion and Hillsboro.
Ty, Kim, and Brooke Gaines spent the night Sept. 19 with Ronnie and Patti Gaines. Kim and Patti spent Sept. 20 enjoying the Marion County arts and crafts shows.
The evening of Sept. 21, Jim and Sue Hoffman of Leavenworth visited the Gaineses.
The Friends and Fellowship group of Burns Countryside Church met the evening of Sept. 23 at the home of Mary Langenegger. Attending were Pastor Arlen and Mary Busenitz, Emily, Carson, and Jessica, Dan and Alice Stucky, Earl and Mary Mays, Mike and Larry Spachek, Mike Hammann, and Joyce Kyle.
Marie Clark went to Council Grove Sept. 21 with Mack and Shayla Clark and Hadlye to hear Shayla’s dad Wayne Lofton preach. They ate dinner at Council Grove before returning home.
Marie spent the night Sept. 17 with Jen Stucky, and Beth Wolf called on Marie Sept. 23.
Brody Kyle of Manhattan visited Joyce Kyle Sept. 20 and they ate lunch in Burns.
Marvin and Carolyn Gehring called on Joyce on Sept. 19.
Lowell Larsen and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizen’s board meeting in Peabody on Sept. 19, and Joyce attended the senior fair in Salina on Sept. 23.
