Robert J. “Bob” Bina, 61, died Sunday at his farm residence east of Lincolnville.

He was born on Nov. 23, 1950, in Hillsboro to Frank and Lillian Moravec Bina of Lincolnville.

He was a farmer and stockman. The Centre High School graduate served in the U.S. Air Force. On Feb. 14, 1976, he married Jeanette M. Giles in Marion. He was active with the Lincolnville Volunteer Fire Department and the Clear Creek Watershed Board. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, of Lincolnville; one daughter, Rebecca Bina of Leon; two sons, Byron Bina of Elmo and Dustin Bina of Lincolnville; one sister, Margaret Klenda of Lincolnville; one brother, Leonard Bina of Lincolnville; and two grandchildren.

All services will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Herington. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Thursday and the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Interment will be in the Pilsen Cemetery.
