Danielle Savage, a junior at Bethany College and 2010 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School, was awarded a $500 scholarship from the Alpha Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma for the 2013-14 school year.

The award is presented annually to a female high school senior or college student attending a college in Kansas pursuing a major in education.

Danielle is the daughter of Ray and Patty Savage. She is majoring in elementary and special education.
