Schools offer summer recreation

Marion schools’ summer recreation program offers performance, painting, and football camp activities this summer. All will be available for students in the school district.

Little Broadway, for students going into grades 3 through 7, will be 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 1 to 5 at Marion’s Performance Arts Center.

Broadway Stage and Summer Camp, for students going into grades 8 through 12, will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 17 to 22.

Signups are being accepted by email at sprinrut@usd408.com.

Painting classes will be available four days in July.

Classes will be from 9 to 10 a.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 6, 7, 13, and 14 at the middle school cafeteria.

Cost is $15 per class. Registration forms are available at the district office.

Junior Warrior football camp for elementary school students will be July 25 to 27.

Registration forms are available at the district office and Sports and Aquatic Center.
