Marion Senior Girl Scouts again are sponsoring “Silver Tree for Our Silver Stars” at Tampa State Bank.

The tree is modeled after the Angel Tree for families in need, but is for elderly residents at Marion Assisted Living and St. Luke Living Center.

Participants choose a star, purchase the item suggested, then take it to the bank by Dec. 5 so it can be delivered by the troop.
