The cookies are coming!

Rylee Thomas is looking forward to her favorite scouting activity.
Starting Saturday, Rylee and others in her troop will be selling cookies.
During last year’s cookie sale, Rylee sold over 400 boxes of the sweet treats. Her goal this year is 200 boxes of cookies.
Rylee has earned several patches, like her public service patch she earned by helping at the food bank.
Some of the things her troop did just for fun are playing with the bigger scouts and doing group activities.
“I went to day camp at the lake hall,” Rylee said.
Cookies will be sold from Saturday through March 18. This year’s cookie lineup includes S’mores, Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbreads, Thanks-A-Lots, and gluten-free Trios. Prices are $4 per box.
Marion Girl Scouts will sell cookies at Carlsons’ Grocery Feb. 17 and 24, and March 3, 10, and 17. Girls also will sell cookies independently.
