Thomas Francis Meade, 81, died Saturday at Pine Village in Moundridge.

A funeral service will be Dec. 13 in Virginia.

He was born July 8, 1933, to Thomas Francis and Annette (Kupfer) Meade at Flushing, New York.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Meade of Purcellville, Virginia; sons, William of Reston, Virginia, Richard of Abingdon, Maryland, and Michael of Miami, Florida; daughters, Mary Bostic of Hillsboro, Annette Vernail of Purcellville, Virginia; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
