BURNS NEWS:   Twentieth Century Club members begin new year

Members of the Twentieth Century Club and their guests enjoyed dinner at Arletta’s Catering in Burns on Sept. 23. Attending were Marie Clark, Beth Wolf, Rhonda Brenzikofer, Esta Hall, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Cindy Holt, Norma Clark, Gail Topham, Sherol Nightengale, Lois Sayers, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.

On Sept. 20, supper guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee, were Nathan Koehn, Dalen and Beth Koehn and Cody, Roland and Kim Koehn and family, Charity Koehn, and Steven and Lenae Holdeman and family of Brazil. Charity and Lenea are daughters of Royce and Rachel Koehn.

Amos and LaWanda Swarey of El Dorado called on Vernon and Judy Koehn the evening of Sept. 22.

Brooke Gaines spent the weekend with her grandparents, Ronnie and Patti Gaines. On Sept. 21, Dusty Gaines joined them at Walter’s Pumpkin Patch for a fun time.

Josh and Ashley Wiebe, Seth, Faith, and Devon attended the wedding of Ashley’s sister, Katie Thiessen and Levi Keplar the evening of Sept. 21 at the home of Lonnie Guhr.

Evelyn Sidener and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting at Tampa on Sept. 20. On Sept. 24, they went to Marion and rode the van to the Senior Fair in Salina.

Joyce joined others of the Burns Methodist Church at Barbara Anderson’s Sept. 22 for a potluck dinner and the baptism, in Barbara’s pool, of Sarah Spencer of Peabody.
