John and Denise Lang spent Nov. 18 to 25 on vacation in Louisiana. They stayed on the bayou and met some nice people. On Friday, they went to Wichita to see a movie and eat out.
Sunday guests of Dale and Tootsie Snelling were Dean Snelling of Goessel and Danny Snelling and Seth of Marion. The Snellings attended the funeral service for Nova Brunner on Friday.
Dan Fletcher hosted the monthly potluck supper Dec. 28. Those present were Everett and Janet Cress, Joyce Padgett, Linda Allison, Carol Kutz, Dave Folley, and Sandi Cunningham.
Terry Bruington of Olathe, All Bannazo of Omaha, Neb., Eldon Cress of Emporia, and Gary Suelter of Burns were weekend guests of Everett and Janet Cress.
Denise Lang and Margie Williams ate lunch in Emporia on Nov. 28. They later stopped by the Dollar General store and visited Jaime Lang.
Hazel Clothier met her daughter, Teresa Hill, for lunch in Marion on Friday.
