Despite officially dropping out of the race nationally, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas won a straw poll Tuesday among Marion Elementary School students.

Cruz won 90 votes compared with Hillary Clinton’s 46; John Kasich had 42, Donald Trump had 37, and Bernie Sanders had 18. Fourth grade student Gavin Wasmuth had two write-in votes.
