A flood of concern

To the editor:

Your last few stories on the floodgate make me worried for Marion.

I am angered that the problem has been known about for months and amazed that it was not correctly repaired or replaced back in October.

How was there no plan in place? How are there no funds available for a definite emergency?

Your political cartoon is funny, a perfect pointing of a finger of blame. Inaction is another finger — a big middle finger to the residents of Marion!

I hope this is remedied for my adopted home before any flooding happens.

Thank you for allowing my rant.
