Lanorma Kreutziger

A Celebration of Life for Lanorma Jean Kreutziger, who passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by her daughters, will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Strassburg Baptist Church, rural Marion.

Visitation with family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro. The family also will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the service.

Lanorma was born July 6, 1929, in Marion to Herman and Frieda (Batthauer) Schlotthauer. She was a 1946 graduate of Marion High School.

On July 1, 1951, she was united in marriage to Monroe Kreutziger.

She was a long-time homemaker and farm wife in the Canada area. After retirement they moved to Hillsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Monroe, and son-in-law Randall Whitcomb.

She is lovingly survived by her three daughters, Rita Whitcomb of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Judy and her husband, Jerry Dietzel of Caseville, Michigan; and Debra and her husband, Steve Wilkens of Monrovia, California; her six grandchildren, Katie Connor of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Kevin Whitcomb of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Jason Dietzel of Chicago; Garren Dietzel of Pigeon, Michigan; Zoe Wilkens of Yuma City, Arizona; and Zack Wilkens of London; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial funds have been established for Strassburg Baptist Church and Parkside Homes in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Online Condolences may be left at www.jostfuneralhome.com.
